corey smith

i met corey in portland when he was still snowboarding professionally. hes since gone onto be a more than established artist and art director. having gallery openings worldwide and an expansive list of private collectors, his art has attracted attention that has given way to a successful and constantly in-demand career. he currently resides in southern california as art director for comune and head curator of drop city gallery.

i met chris when i first moved to new york. we were both assisting at the time..his assisting days are long gone and i cant open a magazine anymore without seeing his photos..with consistent editorial clients including i-D, spin, XXL, dazed and confused, and giant, he's moving fast to the top of the ranks. check out his website and blog.

after being idle for a few years we've decided to bring area back...slowly but surely work our way back into the crowd..if you remember area from the beginning, the concept is the same.. expose the work and talent of those who's hard work and creativity deserves to be recognized. were starting slow but within the next few months look for big things...we have our sights set high and like to make moves.
